Do you treat adults as well as children?
Absolutely! We provide exceptional orthodontic treatment to patients of basically any age. Your dreams of having a straight smile don’t have to end just because you’re an adult. With more subtle options like Invisalign and clear ceramic braces, you can correct misaligned teeth without disrupting your professional or social goals.
When should my child see an orthodontist?
The American Association of Orthodontists says that children should be evaluated by an orthodontist at age seven. Even if your child doesn’t need braces at that age, Dr. Jones and Dr. Hanson can identify potential alignment problems and plan for early intervention. That typically means less invasive and faster treatment in the long run.
How is Invisalign different from traditional braces?
Invisalign consists of clear alignment trays that apply gentle pressure to the teeth. Each set is worn for 20 to 22 hours every day for two weeks; then, the patient switches to the next set of aligners. One of the biggest advantages of choosing Invisalign treatment is that there is very little impact on your teeth’s appearance. Basically, these clear aligners disappear when worn.
Why should I see a board-certified orthodontist?
Although some general dental offices offer orthodontic services, a board-certified orthodontist has undergone years of advanced training and has passed rigorous testing specifically in orthodontic issues and procedures. How long will it take to get my retainer?
